Designing Your Blog

Designing Your Blog

In the last few months, you have found yourself spending a lot of time browsing the internet and looking at blogging websites. If you read blogs, you should know by now you will need an account of your very own so that you can comment on posts. Sometimes, you can comment anonymously, but it’s a rare occasion. With this being said, you have decided that there is no real reason why you shouldn’t have a blog of your own so you made an account. You’re the kind of person who likes to fancy things up and you used to do it all the time with your MySpace. Now that MySpace is technically ‘dead’, you can fancy up your blog. There are so many ways you can do it, so here are a few ideas for you to run with.

Using a Premade Blog Theme

When you make a blogging account, if you are someone who is not yet familiar with coding and making your own themes, do not despair. Just because you do not know how to make your own themes does not mean your blog still can’t look cool. There are so many awesome sites out there that offer premade themes you can use on your blog. This is perfect for people just like you who like to swag things out but just understand how to do it from scratch. These themes are free to use and you can find a theme that you will love. There are themes in so many different categories, such as celebrities, photography and even in fashion or brands. Themes usually come with a custom layout and a background as well. You will find that everything on your blog will match up perfectly with a premade theme!

Making Your Own Theme

If you are someone who is already familiar with HTML coding, you should have no problem with making your own layout and theme for your blog. Coding a theme for your blog is very similar to the HTML layout coding formerly used by MySpace. If you know how to do that, you’re good to go. You can hide things on your page or even move them wherever you want. You can switch up your font style and you can make things on your page any color that you want. You can even make your own background and use it with your custom made theme. If you want something unique that no one else will have, this is the way to go.

Now that you have an idea about ways you can make your blog look just as fabulous as you are, you can get started right away. All you really need to do is to decide whether you are going to use a premade theme that you find on a website or whether you have skills enough to make your very own. Whatever method you choose, your blog will be looking stylish in no time at all!
